A Universal Question

There is a question that hangs in the air,

'What is the meaning of life?'

The question I like to ask is,

'Does life have a meaning?'

You may be sitting there thinking,

What a stupid question,

Of course life has a meaning-

Okay, well, what is it?

Humanity has been about for eons,

Why don't we have an answer?

People have sought to find it

And come up with love, life, happiness, etc.

But why is that the meaning?

How is it boiled down to one word?

Isn't there more?

If I had an answer, it would be-

The meaning of life is to dream.

But there's more… To dream, and to follow through,

To be more than what humanity makes you out to be—

To be who you are inside and out,

To live up to your own expectations-

Not the ones set by others.

So, to you, what is the meaning of life?

What is your dream?

How will you achieve it?
